I picked up my 2.8 Z3. An approved BMW purchase and all things considered I think I got a good deal. It's a different beast altogether compared to my MGB roadster!
I've tried to upload photo's that I've reduced to 148KB but machine tells me the maximum file size for all attachments is reached.

I didn't think it was
that funny.
Going back to the original MGB/Z3 comparison, when I first had the idea of an open sports car in 1998 I hired an MGF for a week to decide whether my wife and I could live with an open car. Having already owned six BMW 3 Series, we were used to something which was much better bolted together. It just didn't feel right. When I first took a Z3 out for a test drive (albeit a 1.9 rather than the 2.8 I eventually opted for), it immediately felt much more solid and the sort of thing I was used to.

Now I'm puzzled why you're puzzled.
My first drive was in a 1.9, but the car I eventually decided to buy was a 2.8.

Silver is looking like the most popular colour now
