Roof liner pully broken

Have tried to search for this but gave up if you go to flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/eyezcar/4686269118/ everything will become clear it look like a shrink wrap retainer this missing on the driver side can I get this item and fit it myself or do I need to replace the whole this tried asking BMW all they’d say is we need to have the car in right at the hourly rate you charge
