Brill

Just a quick one have you heard of alloywheelsdirect?

I want to stay with my original model 18 and they are selling them for £214 for 4, which is probably cheaper than refurbing mine!

Thanks for the info

Pitstop on Leeds rd, Huddersfield you can decide what finish you would like / spend. I have heard good reports from there A chap i know has used them, i think he sends them away to a third party.

As Canman said I used the Wheel Specialist in Leeds.
Several others have also followed suit.
Brian will do a "same day service" so you don't need axle stands.
Garforth Station is very close so you can easily jump on a train into Leeds.
My write up thread is here
If you mention ZRoadster (and that tight git from up north) you should get a good deal

Cheers guys, it looks like its the wheel specialist in either Leeds or Manchester.

Got my 1st quote back which was for the wheels with tyres taken off the car, i will aim to drive in so will hunt down a better price.

I must say i was surprised how quick the turnaround is!

I just need to make my mind up on the colour which at this moment in time i think i will stick with the standard finish.

Cheers all, Jon

I can't speak for the other branches but the Leeds one has samples of the popular finishes that you can try against your car.
Gold might be nice on yours but probably not the pink

Booked in at the Manchester Branch on Friday.

Will be showing them off in Wales on Saturday.

Cheers for the recommendations.

jontymo,
Dont know if you have sorted the wheels yet but i was told of a spray shop that does wheels at robin hood on leeds road wakefield, They said that if the wheels are ok or need little repair the cost would be £120 for all four,

I agree - £250 for a full refurb is a reasonable marker.
Those of you that have met Brian at the Wheel Specialist will know that his arm has been twisted so much it's like a corkscrew :!:

I did an online quote for the wheel specialist on Thursday and go a call Friday morning offering me their special 15% August discount.

I might visit them and see if I can haggle the price down a bit more
