Brake fluid change due - it is a timer that comes on every 2 years.

Timer has to be manually reset after changing brake fluid.

Cheers R.

I knew someone was going to ask that!

I've never done it, but I am pretty sure it involves more than shorting two pins together like the service lights. Has anyone on here ever reset their own successfully?

In this case, I was just trying to emphasise that the car won't know you've changed the brake fluid - the question has been asked before!

Cheers R.

That's not the service light... that's the self destruct!!!!

Fancy option that one, not many have it (these days!).

If you know anyone with the Carsoft program they can reset it for you. If you're anywhere near Cheshire feel free to use mine :)

I know that under the bonnet... find the plug that looks like a tow bar socket.... then put a test light on no7 then to earth = this will reset service interval.... I will confirm soon if it turns the clock off.
thanks for you help and kind offer.
cheers snatch.
