Hi everyone,

I'm Luke Jones, 20 from Cambridge

I have recently bought a Cosmos Black w/red interior (well, start of june, but was enjoying the sunshine too much to be indoors) its 1997 Z3 with a meer 46k on the clock :) good times (thank you old lady with a bad back)

bought it for a tad under £5k which i though was about right for a spot on Z with low milage

anyways will let the pics do the talking so here ya go:

so far have retrofitted chrome roll bars and a clear wind deflector & a stubby aerial but i have a growing list of things to do to the Z which is currently sitting around the £2.5k mark! oh lordy...

hope you all like

Thanks for the warm welcome and quick responses guys been eyeballing up all your zeds for a while now so thought it was time to make my presence known :)

gotta love black :D sooo hard to keep the z all shiney though, the downside of posering, ha

should be onto some chrome bits in the coming weeks in the form of side gills, depends how much money i can avoid spending on holiday to what gets done when.

looking forward to showing you my progress / seeing yours and hearing about good stories etc. seems like a real nice chilled forum filled with peope passionate about the Z's and to be honest what could be better?

Hi Luke, big zed welcome from me too :drive

Love the colour combo and it will be no problem to keep it nice and shiny you'll be out washing and waxing it all the time :D

That's a mighty big signature pic you've got there though

Identical to mine. With a nicer interior I'll have to admit. Hope you enjoy washing your car!

Would love to come to pod but am flying to America on the 12th so won't be able to make it. Which is a massive shame as it looks really good..

Not my house no, still living with mum. Am I the only person to live with their parents and own a zed? Lol

Have always said i'd swap my bedroom for a double garage :D, bit of insulation and i'd be laughing :D

unfortunately i dont get the zed in the garage much as its their 'smoking shelter' heresy i say, leaving my poor zed outside, think i will have to just pop it in over the worse winter nights, i have both the keys and the handbrake works well so they shouldnt be able to move it, he he

still its pretty much filled with my car cleaning products and beer fridge anyway ;) so can't complain
