Noisy soft top

Post by Lazeodoom »

Roof has been repaired, huzzah. Now its noisy at speed and there is a very slim space where water can get through between the window and the roof itself. Is this something I can sort out or do I have to go back to the upholsterer with an annoyed look on my face?

Doh?
To which window are you referring - front, back or side?

Whilst driving, if you pull down on the roof as if to hold it tighter against the screen of the car does the noise stop?

If so then clearly it needs some adjustment, I'm not sure where the adjustment comes from but I'd assume it'd be from the two prongs that hook into the screen surround when locking the roof down.

Let us know...

You can adjust the side windows so they go up a little further - need to take the door cards off and there's an allen head adjusting screw which acts as a stop on the window mechanism.
