Brake warning light

Can anyone tell me please why my brake warning light flashes when going over a bumpy surface. I checked fluid that's all ok. Does the warning light give you a silly amount of time before your pads have actually worn.

Could be that the wear indicator gets jolted when going over bumps or the wire on your master cylinder cap is loose?

Thanks for that.Managed to get a look today and found the problem.Front wheel brake sencor wire come loose rubbed on the wheel and worn the wire away

little job for the morning reconnecting.
