Covers

Post by Eastsix »

Hi - Im picking my shiny new Z3 up in a few days but its going to be living on the street outside my house in East London. Can anyone recomend a good outdoor cover that'll keep out the elements, deter vandals/thieves and has a window for the tax disc?

Ive seen a couple online, but not with the tax disc window. If anyone is in the same situation and has a good one Id be grateful to know about it.

Cheers - Bill

Hi,

Genuine BMW ones from dealers for £100 if you do a little haggling! but no tax window I'm afraid.

For what its worth i found one at www.carcovershop.co.uk.
my neighbour works for the council and apparently if you dont show your tax disc you get clamped! not having a nasty great clamp anywhere near my bodywork..
So i'm ready for the forecast grim weather later in the week now.

Well there are straps underneath and a cable lock running under the middle - should hold it in place. Gotta be better than leaving it exposed to the elements and paint scrapers.
