First drive in the rain
First drive in the rain
I've only owned the zed for a couple of weeks and with some trepidation went for a drive in the rain today. Trepidation as the hood is the original with a number of wear marks on it. However I'm pleased to report - no leaks! And the only moisture encountered was on my leg when I opened the door, yes I discovered that soft tops don't have gutters. I wonder if ingress and engress in the rain will lead to wet carpet?

Re: First drive in the rain
No more so than any other tintop car and it's certainly nothing to worry about. Look after the hood, the roof seals and the rear window seal and you shouldn't have any problem with leaks inside the cabin - neglect them at your peril!CoachOz wrote:I wonder if ingress and engress in the rain will lead to wet carpet?

This is worth checking when you are working on the rubber seals.

Try this stuff for your seals:
Gummi Pflege
I've used this dealer before and have no hesitation in recommending him
