Steering wheel refurb

Post by ribs »

Wasn't quite sure where to post this...

Many who attended the BMW Show at Santapod last year will have come across Jack Mizerski from http://royalsteeringwheels.com/ , a chap that refurbishes steering wheels, for those who didn't I thought I'd post some pics.

I had mine recovered with padded black leather, with perforated sides.

here's the wheel before, see the worn leather...

That's a fair price.

Question for the guys who had their steering wheels refurbed. What is the quality of the leather like? Have you had any issues with the work?

I would like to get mine done and thought I'd ask if it's worth it as the price seems very reasonable.
