Standard set up tyre question

Had my Zed nearly 2 years now & it`s getting to tyre time i`m currently running factory wheels 16 x 7 pattern 64 as seen on pic below,
previous owner has fitted 225/50 on rear & 205/55 on front is this normal practice ? & can i change the fronts to 225/50 as well without any adverse effects.Its running on Conti`s all round & i`ve got no complaints about the handling just wandered about having 4 identical size tyres so i can swap them around to equal out the wear

i had the same wheels when i got my zed and all four tyres were 205/55/16s.... thats the size that should be on those wheels.
the last owner has gone for a stagered effect with wider rears so i would keep the stagered effect or go back to 205 all round.
I dont think youll get any benifit from fitting wider fronts...

I've got the same wheels fitted with 225/50/r16 tyres that are shown in the handbook as the OEM size but I've got a staggered set of 17" wheels that will hopefully be on the Z3 later this year.

I think your right, yes they were 225/50/16s all round i had.... it says it on the sticker on the car door....
