A little lip spoiler looks good but polarises opinion. Do a search for for lip spoiler and you should come across my thread. Apologies on iPhone so diddly to find and paste.

My original thread

http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopi ... ip+spoiler

If you do go for a spooler, then something subtle would suit best, I'm not keen on BMW's own aero spoiler or the Hamann which looks its a bit surf board

End of the day its what you like

Completely agree! Subtle is best if your going to do it, but it's your car at the end of the day.

Ignore all of the above... is your car pre-facelift or facelift?

In either case try your hardest to find a OEM Aero spoiler 8-)

can i just point out something tho.... :D
as a few of us have noticed the small mouth bumper types go light at the front end when you start to push them to the limit...........now i can only speak for myself but i would be very weary of putting a rear wing on and pushing the back down even harder and lifting the front end when trapping on a bit...just a thought

Mr TT - a small point if you don't mind
You shouldn't say "it doesn't spoil mine" because I (and others) think it does
Matters such as this are expressions of aesthetic taste (or lack of it)
Rather than stated as a material fact, it would be better expressed as "I don't think it spoils mine"
This is not to criticise your Zed, it's yours to do with as you like but you must let others form their own opinions. :D
Then we can have a real pantomime
Oh no it doesn't
Oh yes it does etc etc

If you like them, get them! there's no right or wrong its your car, just as a note though don't go overboard with a picnic tray type, but something discreet or OEM would be good in my opinion. One of the best mods I've done to my Zed and no regrets.

Here's a photo.

So why did you comment on mine?
You may think it was rubbish, I was actually being grammatically correct

oh.......my first job when the Zed comes out of storage is........

1) Remove the spooler......to please Mr T :D

2) To remove the AC Schnitzer Alloys........to please those that think 16" alloys are too large :D

3) Remove the god awfull chrome bits to please all those that think chrome on a Zed looks $hi77y :D

4) Buy a tin of Hammerite and paint it any colour except silver :D

5) Apply an M badge to Pi$$ everyone else off :D

Stand back and look at my handywork in the knowledge I have pleased all the fuddy duddy Z purists!!!!

I had a few more mods that I thought I would share but will keep them to myself now in the knowledge that for me I like em.

what i don't understand is the reason people have to post in a thread where simeon balsam asked which spoiler to get.... not if he should get one or not. if you don't like them and see them as spoiling your car then don't post on it. remember there are people on here that have added the spoiler and don't need people to come along taking the piss out of them. no wonder i stopped posting here!

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
