I have a 99 2.0 and an anolog clock in my center console. I notice this can be replaced by a digital one.
any clues on if this is an easy exchange - how do the clocks mount in the center console?
Changing clocks
Hi John
The digital clock you see is actually a clock and trip computer too...
Apparently most of the wiring is there (not confirmed) and you only need to add the front grill mounted temp sensor to work... plus the control on the end of the indicator stalk (used to select computer mode).
Checkout the wiring diagram and see what plugs you have already there...

Guys...
I dont have any probs with reading the digital in bright light on my MY2001, only problem is the location - my arms usually shield it from easy "glance" looks... neither will sort that!
I do like a gadget, so digital stays in my books...
