BMW Z3 Wiesmann Hardtop

Post by Z3DaveZ3 »

Hi Everyone
I'm a newbie here I’m on the look out for a hardtop for my Z3 and have found this one on eBay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-Z3-Wiesmann-H ... 3f0896d245

I've had a quick look on the net and this forum about these Wiesmann hardtop but there's not that much information about them , is there any difference between these and the standard Bmw hardtops?

Any info would be appreciated

The rear window is slightly bigger.

Hi,

I've got an black BMW hard top for sale if you're interested. See thread here:

http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopi ... +top+black

I have now removed it for the summer and so I can probably remove the fitting kit and sell the lot.

The Wiesmann fitting kit looks different to the BMW one - can't tell from the photos if the rear locking mechanism is the same or not - the brackets don't look as substantial. Be interesting to see what this goes for.

From the seller's username, I'm guessing that it is Cosmos Black. Worth checking as there is more than one black.

Cheers R.

Personally I would say its worth less than the OEM one so with fitting kit <£750

Make sure you get it with a fitting kit, which I believe is different to OEM, and when I last looked is expensive.

The ad says "With fitting kit"

And it's £410 at the moment.
