quarry motors - sheffield, highly recommended

Post by pedro20001 »

yesterday, finally got my mums 1999 2.0 z3 instruments working again, after 3 months of no temp gauge, fuel gauge, rev counter and service lights permanently on! previuosly taken to benhams bmw main dealer in wolverhampton and asked them to code replacement clocks to the car - £80 lighter and still exactly the same as when we went in :head:
went to quarry motors and the sorted it in 45 mins for £45 plus vat, all sorted :D
seems to be that the dealers are keen to relieve you of your hard earned money and when we queried the fact that even though they said the car was sorted, when we started the engine there was no change and even their print out said "failed to code" they are reluctant to refund or accept that they did not do what they said they had done.

will visit quarry motors again for other work, but as for benhams.......would rather pay the extra in petrol :!:

Yea, I brought a second hand oil level sensor for the M off them. Done the job for £30 with 6 months warranty.
