big thank you

Post by houdini2005 »

big thanks to all those people on here who have had troubles with the z3 alarm sys, on friday night i'd just finished fixing a friends broadband wireless router and was about to go home when zed alarm fob (brick type) failed to disarm. could only open doors with key etc (alarm went off when getting in/out).
thanks to various threads on here, as a newbie (2 week z owner) on saturday i learned how to remove the glove box, disarm the alarm ( shorting pins) relearn the fob( with new battery in fob) and refit etc brilliant.
oh one other thing after could only central lock with the fob & not the keys good old fuse 7 had blown whilst trial & error pin shorting, replaced fuse jobs a goodun. 8-)

I'm not one of the people that helped, but is always nice to see someone being grateful for advice given by strangers!

"Good show!"
