Is there any good tips to look after the hood on my Z3

Autoglym fabric hood protector is good for cleaning and reproofing, there are also plenty of other brands out there.
Otherwise I try not to put the hood down when wet or dirty

As Shantybeater said Autoglym is a great product. If you want to get the colour back try Renovo who also do refurb products.
Also its nice to have another member from Macc. We will have to get together to compare cars.

I found BMW cleaner and proofer very good plus Renovo to get the colour back

If you are masochistic and intend using the car during the winter when it's cold with the roof down, make sure you allow time for the window to warm up and become supple or it will crack when you try to lower it.
