Fan belt slipping

Post by ktg1000 » Thu 13 Oct, 2011 22:07

Hi All. Does anyone else suffer with this? I replaced both belts, tensioners and water pump less than 3000 miles ago, but recently I'm getting slippage on start up from cold. Any ideas?

have you tried beltex - spray on and it improves grip between belts and pulleys.

BELTEX
Belt dressing....................
Beltex is a special treatment for most
types of belts which helps to keep
them clean and in good condition. An
application of Beltex increases the
transmitted power by reducing
slippage and improving grip in either
wet or dry conditions.
Beltex lengthens belt life and is ideal
for use on conveyors and all industrial
belts, including flat, round, “v”,
leather, rubber, canvas, synthetic and
fabric.
Product available in:
500ml Aerosol
Now I need to find it .......................
