New Z3 Book....or not?

Post by RodsZ3 »

Some months ago I saw on the Amazon site that a brand new book on buying Z3’s was going to be on sale named (unimaginatively :) ) "Bmw Z3 1996-2002 (The Essential Buyer's Guide)" by Andy Higgins

Although I’m a Z3 owner, any information is always gratefully received as the book promised tips and hints not only on buying but maintaining, owning, driving and a host of other information plus lots of pictures, so I was quite miffed when Amazon contacted me to say it is now not going to be available from the publishers!!

Anyone know any more? Is Andy Higgins out there??

I am pretty sure there was a member on here that wrote a book which was initially offered to members in hardback form and later paperback. It was expensive at around £80 if I remember rightly and remember the auther asking for pictures from members to add to the book.

I have just done a quick search but cannot find it, I am sure someone will come along and put a link up though.

I don't think it would be the same book as this was going to be on sale for around £10 if my memeory serves.....it just looked quite interesting that's all, a modern perspective of the car as opposed to aging road tests.

IF the equivalewnt book on BMW GS motorcycles is anyhting to go by, it's not worth buying unless you know nothing about the Z3.

A decent book, but nothing extraordinary at all, and not worth buying if you have a Z3.

There was a post asking for pictures to include in his book. I think this is the same book as I posted pictures and saw the book on Amazon.

I cannot remmber his user name.

No that's not the one but could be the guy the OP is after. It was back in 2008 I think the book I am thinking about and was several hundered pages of photo's of zeds from all over the world, thinking about it now it may just have been Z1's.
