on going cold start problem

Post by kp »

Hi,

Just to say that i havent yet solved the problem with my cold start
iv'e been having, i have changed coil pack, battery, starting motor, alternator, ht leads, spark plugs, and it has been on dianostics but still couldnt find problem

In the morning the car turns over but takes quiet a while to fire before she starts.

The only thing i have done that seems to work is when i come home from work and leave the car a few hours i then go and start the car and this seems to solve the problem in the morning as it has been fine since doing it, but if i leave it and dont start it in the evening i have the problem of starting it in the morning :head: :head: :head: can anyone please help thanks.

KP

Cam shaft sensors have been known to cause this sort of problem, maybe worth a try?

I would have suggested reading the fault codes but I see you have done this.
