off side wing mirror

any help would be gratefully received on how to remove the off side wing mirror, i am wanting to re-paint the base, cheers

You can just turn the mirror to give you access to the two bolts holding the mirror onto the car door, once the bolts are removed if you pull the wire through the hole this saves you removing the door card.

Unfortunately the mirror after time will not turn. You can still remove the mirror. What you have to do is to dismantle the mirror on the car.

First remove the mirror, which will give you access to 4 screws which holds the plastic cover on, when this cover is removed it gives access to the two bolts allowing you to remove the mirror from the door.
