1999 Z3 2.8 in Estoril?

Post by roym »

Hi guys

I've not been here for a long long time but I was one of the original members when Tim started this forum way back in 1999 (is it really 14 years ago??!!), anyway I was just wondering what happened to my 1999 Z3 2.8 in what was at the time, a very unique Estoril Blue. Has anyone seen ths car?

The wheels were great too!

I've seen a couple of later non M Z3's in estoril but not a 2.8 from memory.

I presume it was an individual order ? (until I saw one I did not think BMW allowed ///M specific colours for non ///M cars so the first one I saw I presumed had been resprayed at some point but it turned out to be from new).

ps welcome back ;-)

Roy's was a special order & was also a parallel import RHD UK model via Denmark.

The car looked lovely. I think he sold it to someone from the Bristol area.
