First time EML light?

Post by Devon Z »

Just gone to put the zed in the garage started her up and the EML and traction lights come on and the engine is idling very lumpy, turn her off and grab my code reader from the garage and plug it in, turn the ignition on and no lights, run code check and it says P0505 idle air control system.

I cleared the code and started her up, all fine, so we'll see how it goes.

If the code comes back or the light lights up again, take the ICV off and spray some cleaner in it and drain it off before refitting if that fails to fix it start looking at the Maf sensor as a cause.
