Sills rusting on my Z :(

Hi Folks,

Following a detailed clean of my Z3 over the weekend, I noticed that the sills on all 4 corners are starting to show signs of rust.

I want to sort this out ASAP.

Would it be better to replace all the sills and get them sprayed or to get a decent bodyshop or someone like chipsaway to treat the rust and just spray over the repair?

Seems to be a common little superficial problem. Mine have been “sand blasted” by the wheels, on the front corners with rust in evidence and I was planning to remove them (to be worked on) as Zedonist mentions. Personally, I found Chips Away very good when I had my local franchise out to fix a nasty graze on my front bumper.
