I was in London for 72 hours last week and did not see a single Z3.
Lots of ragtops....... but not a single Z3.

Re: All in hibernation???
Not much point in sliding ito a pavement with a Zed...they're our babies, mistresses etc...we don't buy Z3's like some buy VW's...they're "special"
Re: All in hibernation???
It's funny you should say that, Bonbon. I'm often in London myself & I notice that there aren't many Z3's there..
Maybe they have all retired to The Provinces, where open top motoring is more of a pleasure..?!
But saying that, I did see a stunning black 2.8 parked outside Liberty's just before Christmas. It was obviously cherished by somebody, as it was very well looked after.
I think a lot of them (mine included) are put away during the Winter to stop the ravages of our climate & gritty, salty roads from ruining them. If you come back to The UK during the summer you will see many more around.
I may be coming to Tel Aviv in June, will I see many Z's there?

Re: All in hibernation???
The odds are close to zero - I get to see one of the 150 or so once every couple of months.
Let me know when you are here. I'll make sure you see at least one

Re: All in hibernation???
I used mine daily and hardly ever see another Zed.
I do think the majority are tucked up in nice, dry, warm garages.
But not mine...

A Mediterranean 6 degrees on the Wirral yesterday, top down, wind cheater jacket, beanie hat, leather gloves and heater on for a tour of Hoylake,West Kirby and Heswall.Saw a couple of z4's with their roof on but no Z3's.Thoroughly enjoyed the drive but today the rain is here but relatively mild.I only drive with the top down so very weather dependent.Best car I 've ever driven, love that zed.
Re: All in hibernation???
Thank you, I will let you know if the trip is to go ahead as planned. Not certain if it will yet, but I really hope so, as I have never been to Israel, & I really do want to come!BonBon wrote:The odds are close to zero - I get to see one of the 150 or so once every couple of months.
