hi my m52 has a slight missfire on cold start up,i have got the z and new to them, the previous owner has fitted a kn type cone filter looks like a cheap one, would this cause any problems from cold, also temp gauge is reading low, even when driven over 60 miles, coolant level is fine, car drives well when warm.cheers paul

Just had mine done yesterday, can be done with out removing fan, but be careful of the bolts as they have a tendancy of seizing in. once you get them out its a case of removing and replacing the thermostat then refilling the system.

My heater is reading just above halfway and car running well.
