There is a way but it is a special secret, PM one of the Mods and they will give you the details.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Not sure, never had to do it, I have seen the request a few times over the years.

I am sure if stu cannot help, one of the Mods will.

Send me something with proof of ownership and I'll let you know the method. We do not wish to let the information public on the internet for resons of security.

Not seen anything from Billi yet!

Haven't actually got around to doing this "special secret" trick to getting my trunk open yet.
The thing I'm wondering is this a once of fix or is that the way I must open the trunk every time? In which case it doesen't make a lot of sence..... :?:

Once you get the boot open and rectify the original problem you will be able to open in the usual way.

Well I guess that depends on whether you fix the problem once you have the boot open or not!!

So I did the "thing" and got the trunk open.
Now everything seems to be fine including the central locking system, accept im still unable to turn my key in lock itself even after I have removed it from the car itself. Key won't turn. I assume that means it broken!?! No known fix for this? :head:

Is the little sliding flap that keeps the rain out still intact? I had this detach itself on a Rover once and it meant I couldn't get the key in the lock, but if it has fallen down inside the lock, out of the path of they key, it could be jamming it. If not, then I guess you are looking at a new boot lock - Coopers want £67.75 for the what looks like the lock barrel bit.

Flap was intact as well, everything seemed ok, accept the lock just would'nt turn. Something had to be blocking on the inside. After about 5 min beating it with the hammer the I tried the key again and the lock turned again 8-)
Reinstalled everything works great again, just need to fix this *************************!!!
