Mint Green Z3 1999
Hi, I'm new to this site. My husband just bought me a 1999 Z3 1900cc in Mint Green (not metallic), which is in good nick apart from one wheel arch, which needs some respraying. BMW tell me they no longer supply the paint colour (Code 413). I've searched sites on the net who say they can mix BMW colours, but none of them have this colour on their BMW colours chart. Was this a limited edition colour or something? It's definitely an original colour as I've checked the documents. Anyone know how to get this paint (especially anyone with a Z3 this colour)? Would really appreciate help on this. Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
413 is Fiji green and yes it was a limited edition. Pretty sure we have a couple of other Fiji owners on the forum - they might know more if they have had some work done on their cars. More details on Fiji here: http://www.zroadster.net/tim/colors/z413-fiji.html
Cheers R.

Thanks R, and for your welcome to the site. Kind of you to reply, the pic you sent is definitely the colour, and I hope to hear from anyone else who owns a Z3 this colour.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Very nice! A good shop should be very capable of mixing the correct color and blending it.

Absolutely. Because what you need is paint that matches your car, not that matches what left the factory in 1999. Over the last 14 years the sun and the weather will have taken some toll on the paint, no matter how slight, and new paint mixed to the original recipe way well stick out like a sore thumb.amancuso wrote:Very nice! Hi Sharon and you other lady drivers out there. I've recently moved to North Wales, near Llandudno - any rallies anywhere around here that you know off??
