stabbed roof

So this is what I found this morning after my weekend away. Key is there for scale purposes. Anyone got any ideas on the best way to fix it? Maybe superglue a patch from the inside or something?

The hole does go right through to inside the car so I'm open to suggestions. Not too bothered how it looks from the inside as long as its effective
