When I bought the Z3 it came with this key.

Does anyone have any idea what its for?

Alarm disablement, or locking wheel nuts possibly?

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

It's to disable the alarm. There is a corresponding keyhole on top of the siren (to your far right as you stand in front of the car with the bonnet open).

You are Lucky to have one! I don't have it and replacements are impossible to find!

We have two, but I presume they all vary slightly similar to wheel locknuts. If I compare ours with stevie's photo above, then we have an extra ident at the seven o'clock position. I would have thought a locksmith could make one to fit individual cars.
