My knobs starting to go all flakey!

Post by wella_fella »

As the title suggests, my gear knob has began to lose some of the chrome paint!

Has anyone got a fix for this or is it time to buy a new one?

You can buy some chrome vinyl wrap. Very cheap and the result should be ok!

You need to yank it hard to get it off. Then a spray and a vigorous polish.

I did mine, and now it is shiny with no flakey bits  .

If you rip it off and polish it hard you might want someone there just to make sure you don't go to far and get carried away

But you obviously time how long it's exposed. What's the record?
