Euro car parts are doing 5 litres QX Fully Synth for £17 at the moment, got it in both my cars at the moment.
At the time they were doing free a oil filter as well.

Re: Halfords oil
Halfords must be making a loss selling it at that price - suspect their shops are struggling to compete with internet traders. Halfords service/MOT centres seem to be doing well though.
Re: Halfords oil
bought 2 of them: £20 for 8 litres of fully synthetic BMW LL01 spec oil 5w/30 (the purple bottle that says for Vauxhall)
Already have 10 litres of 5W30 magnatec for my iminent service, but why not keep some spare.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

I believe that most of Halfords' profit now comes from servicing bicycles - which tells you a lot about today's adults, who cannot even service a bike!

Wow, at that price I might get some of that and put it aside for next years oil change.
Anyone know what consitency is the right for the 2.8 M52TU engine and how many litres?
