Are all Hard Tops the Same?

Hi, please can anyone advise, are all Hard Tops for a Z3 the same? I have the chance to buy hard top from a 98-99 Z3, mine is a 2002 car, but not sure if this is suitable. Also are all fixings standard too or are they individual to the year of the car. Please help. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum, all OEM hardtops and OEM hardtop fitting kits are the same and will fit any Z3 throughout the range.

make sure you have the fixing kit, before buying the hardtop

this is something that always raises it head 'The Fixing Kit'
there is a lot on here about them ,That's assuming you don't have it

Thanks Ray, I have found from this site a German company who seem reasonable. €150 for full fixing kit and as I have a friend in Germany, I'm going to ask them to check it out for me first.
