Rear window

Post by Rafolian »

After a couple of weeks putting it off I bit the bullet today and fitted a new rear screen.
Priced one at BMW dealer here at near 300 euros (no way Jose!) Got one on E-bay from Art design Munster in Germany for 72 quid (More like it!) after reading a few good reports about them. Read various reports about ease of fitting (or lack of) and how long to fit (from 1 to 4 hours!).
Took me about 1 hour start to finish and half of that was cleaning adhesive off the zip teeth and took about 15 min to get the zip started.
When I zipped it right round I was expecting to be a tooth or 3 out and have to start again, but no, jammy sod was spot on and it's a perfect fit and looks better than new, well chuffed!
So anybody changing their rear screen I can wholeheartedly recommend Art design Munster!

This is probably a job for me next year, so I took a look.... first link is to the suppliers site (in German), second is right here and is how to fit by Aceman. Small world :D

Kingy1, just go on e-Bayuk and Z3 rear window and you will find them.
Been out today in the car and even though it's 22 degrees and sunny I kept the roof up as everytime I looked in the mirror I thought there was no window in! Every bit as good as new, highly recommended!
