Hanging loose on both sides? Can't find where they attach for the life of me...

Small length of nylon cord should be fitted to the spring the other end to the hood material, it keeps the hood lining pulled tight just about front of door window.
Away at the moment so unable to post a picture.

ahh, that explains that; the ends of my cords are simply knotted. Will have to look into this a bit further...
