Airbag reset/diagnostics help required in Glasgow

Post by Belle »

Hey chaps.

Does anybody have a diagnostics kit or airbag reset tool in Glasgow or the central belt? If not I suspect I will end up buying one rather than paying the garage to plug it in but thought I'd ask first.

Cheers,

Looks like Brian H is your best bet - don't know how far away you are - http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopi ... =5&t=36055

Best of luck

I have one Belle, Happy to help if I can, could meet up somewhere to reset, do you know what caused the airbag light to come on?

Cheers

Thanks Mint and hello Brian H,

I don't know what's likely to have caused it to come on. Had some boot loom issues last year so not sure if could have been that. Car has been sorned and due MOT and I only just realised that the light being on is a fail. I obviously can't bring the car to you but am off work next week and parents live in Perth so possibly can work something out. Will send you a PM tomorrow.

Cheers,
Belle

Hi Stevie_a,

That would be wickedly useful. I live in the west end but work out that way so could easily find you. PM sent.

So far so good stevie_a, although have avoided moving the seat about too much in case that's what caused it. Passed the MOT in any case and enjoying being on the road again. Thanks again for your help.
