I'll take photo of mine tomorrow when it's light :) but it fits on the left hand side you should see a hole in the side wall carpet where the securing bracket is screwed in.

Here you go Lars, looks like I need to give the carpet clean and the first aid kit a wipe over while I'm at it.

Thank you for the photos. I guess when you put the cover for the soft top in the boot the first aid kit will need to be removed?

Thanks, I will have to do more research... maybe someone else can confirm this?

I have a later M and there is no bracket. It doesn't have a secure home.

The cover comes out fine, I suppose you could use some Velcro strips to do the same job.

I was trying different locations today but still may go with the original mounting area?

I recommend sending that hood cover to me to make room for the medical kit!

Yes, but have you seen the price of Velcro these days? It's a rip-off if you ask me.

My first aid kit sits in a black shaped recessed compartment on the right corner of the boot and in this picture I see there is a black box with white labels with writing and diagrams on, and by the shape of it I guess this is what is really actually supposed to be in that hole? Can anyone confirm this and is the said item one of those emergency tyre inflator kits and if so where I might get one?

I'm sure the mobility kit was a ///M only item as the rest of the range had the space saver, but if you keep your eye on eBay they do come up and you get the bottle of fluid from your stealer. Never had to use it though so I don't know how effective the mobility kit is.

You are correct It's for the "M"
In 15 years mine has never been used, every thing is still factory sealed.
