Happy 300k
Re: Happy 300k
Well done, a great achievement.
I'll bet that your car runs better than many low mileage Z3s
I wonder if anyone has a higher mileage Z3?

Good work!
That's about 187,500 miles. There are some 200,000 mile plus cars around - one of the guys on the US forum has around 250,000 miles on his (400,000km)TR4man wrote: I wonder if anyone has a higher mileage Z3?

Nice work, looks like it could do with some petrol tho!

Just a duff sender.

Good to see someone else has joined the 300000 Kms club. Mine did the same a few months ago. Usual Z3 niggles on the way but nothing odd.
Congrats and look forward to another 300K

Re: Happy 300k
Hi BonBon, just interested to know what engine you have.
Re: Happy 300k
186k miles, just about run in!!! My 1998 2.8 has only 65k but my E46 328Ci before it with similar engine had 164k miles and was as good as new. My neighbour here in Spain has a Rover 75 turbo diesel which he brought over from England and has a BMW engine and has over 600k miles on it (virtually one million kilometres!) and it still runs as new!!

Going to pick up a sender at a UK breaker in August and use your post to see wtf is going on with mine.
Hopefully this season will be the right time to trade in that "Red and White".

Cheers - but yesterday just delivered to the in-laws in Essex from the bloke breaking a 48kmile grey 2.8 on Ebay.
