B800 SRS reset tool (to cancel Airbag light)

Post by BonBon »

Just a head's up. :thumb:
I just got this tool and it does what it's meant to do. Eliminates the concern of the Airbag light.
At between 20-30 quid on Ebay - it must be on the the best value kit around.
To pay an indie to do it "once off" must cost double.

I paid £40 to have my light reset but that was a few years ago. At the time I didn't know you could buy a reset tool.

Something like this is even better value:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Diagnosti ... 2590bd0b06

You can do the airbag lights, but also engine lights, read all the fault codes, read live data etc, etc.

This looks very good. I have most of the stuff, but my INPA works off a serial (RS232 ?) Port. I think I'll be investing in this.

The downside is that it is not as compact as the B800 as you need a laptop to operate it.

Have a look here for my Wi-Fi set up using an Ipad, it also works with an Android phone.

Obvioulsy that's only any good for OBDII cars, so early Zeds won't work.
