Rumbling/knocking at 40mph & 2100rpm

Was not too difficult to find.
Seems like the noise was the exhaust knocking on the subframe.
Used the opportunity to change out the rubber lining under the fuel tank straps.

I hope you mended the broken weld and replaced the exhaust rubber as well as the tank rubbers.

The exhaust rubber is pretty new & and I used a few layers of tire inner tube on top of thr fuel tank straps.
