Question abut Angel Eye Headlight Units

Post by sirius-c »

Hello,

Ive been reading quite a few threads about the angel eye headlight units, here's a couple:-

Here is a vid:-

I know you can plug in the motorized unit for the in-cab wheel adjustment switch but my question is,
are there any manual adjustment knobs/screws on the rear of these units to adjust headlight aim up/down and left/right?

or do you have to adjust them with the 4 x retaining screws that hold each unit to the car?

I'm aware its a whole lot cheaper to install CCF's into the existing units but I'm looking at adding them to compliment my other exterior chrome bling-a-lings.

I'm wondering if these are adjustments?

I did email the uk ebay seller "2xcite" but he seems to have evaded my questions:-

Ive been contemplating buying some of these for a while now but......
I was wondering if its at all possible that you could send me some detailed photo's of the rear of one of these units...
I'm primarily interested in the connections and adjustment methods
I'm hoping they simply plug into the existing Z3 connection plugs with the exception of the halos which i assume are to be custom wired to the side lights?

I know you can plug in the motorized unit for the in-cab wheel adjustment switch but is there any manual adjustment screws/knobs for vertical and horizontal alignment?

Kind Regards
Stephen

Yes you are correct they just plug into your existing wiring and then wire the angel eyes to your sidelights.
As for the up and down movement you remove your motor from your current lights and put them into these

Hi Stephen, as far as I'm aware the 4 mounting screws and locknut adjusters are merely for aligning the headlight with the body work and bonnet, not adjusting the beam alignment.

Cheers, Tony. Ps if you need more info I will take some pics tomorrow and send them to you.

Hi Stephen, you bought my original headlights? I will shoot some pictures tomorrow and get them to you. My Angel eye all chrome headlights came from California.

Cheers, Tony.
