Z3 plasma dials

Post by Mike_1986 »

Hi im looking to buy the following item off ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E36-Z3-PL ... 3a5f51f050

has anyone tried to fit them? and if so how easy is it?
the add does say it includes fitting guide but going by past experience of aftermarket parts its never so straightforward.

I did find a similar post searching http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f4/ ... em-t81006/

any help much appreciated
thanks

Hi,
I bought the car from Pangster some yrs ago now.
He fitted the Lockwood dials to a spare pod.
He'd removed them by time I collected the car as they needed some work, I think he said they were catching on the needles.
I've still got it in the garage somewhere and should get around to doing it as I liked the look. However now I have fitted a full black interior to the car beige backing may look out of place...
