The old chestnut - hardtop fitting gauges

Post by GDZ3 »

Hi all, new to ZRoadster.net with my recently acquired Montreal Blue 1.9. I found a nice hardtop care of one of the leads in the forum (thanks) and now want to fit it correctly.
I have read the many posts, some of which go back a few year to when parts might have been a bit more available.
I need to beg, steal or borrow a pair of fitting gauges as they are 'no longer available' from BMW UK or BMW AG it seems.
Anyone out there with gauges to spare, to lend or to sell ?... I would be please to hear from you. PM please if you can help.

I am also looking for the straps to hold the wind deflector down if there are any of those cluttering up someone's garage .. ?

Cheers
GD

I have a set of hardtop fitting gauges, but there is a bit of a queue for them developing! See this thread.
