Z3 Drivers inner window rubber seal

Post by waynerp »

Hi All,

Ok i'm trying to locate a new rubber seal that fits inside the door. its rubber with metal inside, fits to a metal lip within the door. It looks like the door card lips over it at the top.
ive had a look on RealOEM website and am not sure i can see it.
Anyway mine has rusted and caused it to expand and now i cant slip the door card over it!!
Does anyone know wha tpart i am on about, if so where can i get one??

Many thanks

Is it the door seal No 4 in the diagram your looking for or 1 & 2 Top of the door?

The diagrams on realoem are not an accurate rendering of the actual part... so if you are referring to the window rubber seal on the inner side, which in fact lips over the door card BTW...then the realoem reference prvided is correct... if you read the listing below, you will see it refers "inner" and "outer" and "left" and "right"....
Although the part you will want is # 1 on that diagram, and if the right side then part ending in 8397818

True, but I would have said the one above was bloody good. You just have to get used to seeing things in exploded form to work out where it is trying to say the go.
