Upgrading the fleet tomorrow....

Post by Z3andZ4 »

The 320i barge is going to make way for this little pocket rocket

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... gcode=visc

We were originally looking at a 335i but it's 5" longer than the 3 we have and one of the points was to go smaller.

Going for the full check tomorrow, but am almost there already........

Just thought I'd share....the Z3 is going nowhere and will now be cherished with some ££££ as the 1 is ostensibly Mrs's...

I Never liked the 1 series until the coupe came out, that's one lovely looking car. Enjoy! :)

I have only heard good reports of those - looks great.

but won't the 3.0l cars feel out of place as you get more 'M' cars ?! :D

My dad has a 1-series coupe for a few years, albeit with a much smaller engine than that, and whilst it was a very nice car and as an ex-demonstrator came with quite a few toys, including big wheels and a carbon fibre spoiler (which is why it was nicknamed "the pimp-wagon"), the runflat tyres on the big wheels were awful and, at 6ft, it was not easy for me getting in and out of the back of it.

Very nice car, but make sure you drive it on a bumpy road before you buy.

Cheers R.

Fleet upgrade completed and wow........

We drove it a few times round the airfield at Stapleford Essex and it coped really well..

Anyone who told me a ride would improve with 19's would have been questioned, but whatever else got done spring and damper wise knew exactly what they were doing because it really works. Let's see how the tyres wear though 255/30's on the rear and 235/35's on fronts. At least I am starting off with full tread next week when I collect her.

So far so very very good. 306 horses so only 37 behind the Z4MC.......

Early days but feel like am getting off to a good start.
