Old Chestnut : Air bag light!

This is doing my head in

Airbag light has started to come on when her ladyship plants her sweet botty on the passenger seat - but only then! (Is the car getting overexcited at the view!

I appreciate from other posts it may be wiring under passenger seat that's slightly dodgy, but how do you remove seat to get a good look? (bearing in mind the Lotus white leather was restored (like new) prior to my getting the car!)

This was happening all the time when my wife got into the car, the resolution was to get her not to put the seat in the full up position

as soon as she realised this was the problem she stopped doing it and all has been well since

it did take some time as she was still putting it all the way up ( well she is blonde )
