Lowering
Lowering
I've scoured the site for some info on this but hope someone may be able to advise!! I'd like to slightly drop the car, I've owned 'slammed' cars before but whilst they look great I enjoy driving it as it!! Are there any 20mm springs available or will the z3m stuff be different and lower it slightly? I've looked at coilovers but they all seem to be 30mm/35mm minimum drop which is more than I'd like. I think that schnitzer do some but I'm guessing that it'll be easier to find lord Lucan riding a unicorn and carrying a dodo than them!
Re: Lowering
I can get my coilovers higher than stock...I'm currently running HSD dualtechs made for a compact, very nice coilovers for the price.
You could also go for eibach springs if they are available, they are usually around a 15mm drop and have a smooth ride.

Re: Lowering
The eibach are 30mm I think. I'll check those coilovers out though. Thanks
Re: Lowering
The Z3M springs are different on the front compared to normal Z3 shocks, So you will need to change the shocks too. But the rears fit ok.
I went down the same path as you last year. In the end i settled for 35mm lowering springs which still have just enough space round the tyre.
