What's that nut for?

Post by Boosh »

Hi all, could anybody shed some light on the purpose of the 4th (brass) nut on the driver side suspension turret of my 2002 1.9? It is mounted on a plate that's colour-coded, so it's OE. There's gotta to be a reason for it...

if its the same as my z3 2.2 its the negative point that you clip jump cables onto ,the positive connection is under a square plastic cover just in front of the brake bulk head

It's normally the nut behind the wheel that's the problem
