front fogs retrofit

Post by Boosh »

Hi all,
A breaker near me is dismantling a z3. It has orange indicator lenses and side repeaters, but the pic isn't clear, so I can't see the reg or whether it has side lights on the bumper to determine its age (pre or post facelift). However, I can see it has front fogs, which my car (an '02) doesn't. Do you reckon pre facelift fogs will fit on a later model, or would it be a waste of money?
Thanks for the info,

Boosh.

Thanks Barry,
Thought they might, but saw some on fleabay described as fitting up to '99 models, that puzzled me...
Let's start bargaining, then!
Thanks,

Boosh.

Just remember, you will also need the 2 little clip in covers... Once the lights are fitted, there are 2 little covers which clip in to conceal the fixing screws. Have a look on real OEM for the parts which are included in the fog light fitting so you can ensure you have all you will need to do the job.

Southernboy, I understand the non-fog blanking plates can be cut to cover the fixing screws. However, I've got them included in the deal already, with screws/clips, relay, and switch. Should get me busy for an hour or so...
Thanks for the advice,

Boosh.
