Another Alarm Question

Post by Fender2004 » Thu 09 Apr, 2015 11:34

I'm trying to reset my 'brick type' unit. I read the guide on here and it states that you just pull the unit out of the car after removing the glove compartment. Well mine is solid and will not move at all. I was thinking of pushing a blade between the unit and the support shelf to see if it is glued in? unless anyone has any other ideas.

I'm assuming that it is the black box at the top of the photo with the single wire coming out?

Yes that is the correct box - the black cable is the antenna - You have to loosen/remove the cradle to get it out.
